Commitment: One-off or regularly this can be done remotely at a time that suits you!
Skills needed: High level of written English
Creativity and basic design skills (no special software required)
Ability to work to a brief and an agreed deadline
Blogger or social media
Do you have a way with words? Write a blog post and or social media content for Speak Street to share and spread the positive message of the benefits of welcoming newcomers to the the UK. It could be about Speak Street’s work, a current affair, the Lift the Ban campaign (Which we are currently part of the lift the ban on asylum seekers right to work).
Commitment: One-off or regularly this can be done remotely at a time that suits you!
Skills needed: Strong writing skills
The ability to work to a brief and write in a positive, friendly voice.
Ability to work to an agreed deadline and timeline.
Artist in Residence
Become Speak Street’s Artist in residence. To create work shared on our website, social media channels and at the sessions and events.
Commitment Flexible but for 4/6 months
Skills needed Artistic ability (a portfolio of work) Ability to reflect our ethos of being a positive response to negativity towards migrants. Fun, Social, Learning and our core values of Positivity, Empathy and Innovation.
Outreach Support
Help reach isolated Refugees and Migrants through promoting Speak Street to potential referral organisations or directly to potential beneficiaries through events, social media and face to face outreach.
Commitment One-off or regularly, there is flexibility to do this around your schedule, based out of our office in Camden Town.
