On Friday 2nd February from 10:30 to 12:00 we will be visiting the National Portrait Gallery, Saint Martin’s Place, London.
This Gallery houses a variety of over 11,000 portraits from King Henry VII (1457 – 1509) to David Beckham (1975 – ) which provide a fascinating commentary on British culture and history.
Our tour, with the help of our valuable volunteers, will allow us to practice our English listening and speaking skills. We expect these portraits will generate new vocabulary, impressions, thoughts and interesting ideas which we look forward to sharing within our small groups in the Gallery.
The next Art Talks will be on Friday 2nd March from 10:30 to 12:00 at the Museum of Childhood, Bethnal Green, London.
