Launching Museum Wednesday
Stay at home, and we will bring all the exhibitions to you. We have integrated some resources and will post one carefully selected exhibition each Wednesday from now on until you can get access to the real museums again!
Some museums and galleries have already launched online tours for the public such as The Louvre.
Through the link you can get access to four online tours in the museum and you may choose any area on the map then zoom in and out. Corresponding descriptions are also available on the page.
Google Arts and Culture is partnering with hundreds of museums around the world such as British Museum. All the online exhibitions are free to access, displayed by a series of pictures and text. Click and choose the one you like.
There is also content designed for English learners. For instance, V&A has launched Mini Encyclopaedia posts on social media in the field of arts, design and performance. We temporarily found the Chinese-English version. More sources in different languages will be updated soon once we find any.
Good news! Tate just launched the video tour for the Andy Warhol exhibition last week! Sure you don’t want to miss this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjgAd6Z-dd0
