Through our outreach offer Speak Street supports organisations working directly with newly arrived migrants and refugees to build the language skills they need to navigate life in the UK.
We do this by providing a package of ESOL resources and support to enable partner organisations to build their capacity to support migrants in the settings that they are placed in.
For example, we support organisations such as STAR to prepare newly arrived migrants for their new life in the UK in asylum accommodation across London. Through training, and the provision of ESOL resources we support the asylum journey of hundred’s of newcomers a year.
Partner organisations are offered a package of ESOL training, resources, and evaluation support so that they can learn from their own work. Organisations wanting to use our resources can contact us.
